It was sweet!

 

We started our adventure off all together as a family in Edmonton with some fun at the WEM waterpark! Then we headed south to Canmore for a quick stop in the rockies, before jetting to New York, New York.

 

The excitement began during the take-off roll on the runway in Calgary when our pilots aborted the takeoff half-way through. We came to a screeching (read controlled) stop, and after 15 mins or so to let the brakes cool taxied back to the terminal.

 

Hours later, on a different plane, we were winging our way east.

 

We stayed in New York for one night, then proceeded to upstate New York for a few days in a beautiful cabin in the Adironbacks. We had great visits with the owner,  and enjoyed the fall scenery and the nightly fire in our woodstove.

 

We then proceeded to Vermont where we stayed for a couple nights, exploring the area and visiting New Hampshire. Afterwhich we headed back to New York city through Massachusetts and Connecticut.

 

We were blessed with perfect weather the whole time! Back in New York city, we were welcomed with pefect blue sunny skies as we visited some of the well known landmarks.

 

Once more we boarded a plane, this time flying south to Puerto Rico - an island in the caribbean - for some sun, sand and surf!

 

We thoroughly enjoyed our adventure together! We had a lot of fun, made some really good memories, had some cool experiences and saw God's blessings in big and small ways.
